Social media is continually giving a mixed message about beauty. “Here is a bunch of pretty girls with curvy bodies and unblemished skin. Why don’t you look like that?” Sometimes, “Hey! Look at these muscled and tanned short queens. Get your act together!”
However, social media says we need to lower our beauty standards because they are making teenaged girls depressed.
I would suggest a solution which I have no doubt many others have also come to: beauty shouldn’t be the standard.
